Nearly 20 years expertise in cinema V.Ravichandran trailblazer of Kannada cinema the show man of Kannada cinema as he is popularly known prefers to be a student when he is acting in outside banner. 'I came to know recently that a car should be driven by only one person but not two'.

Although it is a late realization I have decided to keep my mouth shut when I am acting for other directors. For 'Odahuttidavalu' and 'Ravi Shastri' I have not interfered or involved in the making. Earlier I was not like this. Working with other directors I was discussing, giving suggestions helping in giving good tips on various aspects of film making. Now I have realized that I should not do it in future says Ravichandran obviously referring to the clashes he often involve on the grounds of creativity and quality with other directors when he is playing the lead. My crystal clear approach was only in churning out the film with better quality. When the directors who ask me to act are not interested in taking useful suggestions it is not my headache he says with grim look in his face.
